Who the #$&% Is Jackson Pollock? is a documentary that Tod co-created with Steve and Don Hewitt (creator of 60 minutes) about Teri Horton, a 73-year-old former long-haul truck driver from California, who purchased a painting from a thrift shop for $5, only later to find out that it may be a Jackson Pollock. Teri, snubbed by the elitist art world, was unable to make any progress on its sale and approached Tod for his help. In addition to bringing the Hewitts on board to make the film, Tod formed and led a consortium of investors and business associates, The Legends Art Group, who marketed the painting. As a result of this ingenious unorthodox methodology, Tod received a 9,000,000 USD offer for the painting from a wealthy Saudi businessman.
